Bikers Night & Geordie’s Northern Lights Show (8 – 10 pm Sunday)

Geordie’s been in the radio industry for, well let’s be nice and just say over a decade. During that time he’s had the pleasure of working with various stations large and small including BikerFM where the ‘Batman and Robin’ style pairing with Clive LT Reygers began.

Geordie’s biking life started with field bikes as a kid through into his early teens before moving into the scooter scene in the 1980’s. From there his passion for two wheels progressed into motorbikes with a succession of Kwakas, Yams, a Harley Davidson Ironhead and a couple of Triumphs.
His musically varied upbringing crossing several styles and generations gives Geordie’s shows a huge range of classic rock, pop and blues music from the 50’s to present day. Sunday nights see more pickin’ and mixin’ than a cinema sweet counter!
His passion for petrol took him onto four wheels for a period owning a few cars and as well as becoming a classic car chauffeur driving such prestigious classics as Rolls Royces and 1920’s Cadillacs. Despite the pleasure of driving a few of the motoring world’s finest classic machines his real love remains motorbikes.
“It’s the sense of freedom and the wind in your face…now you why your dog sticks its head out the car window!”
As well as Geordie’s passion for bikes and broadcasting, he also loves his tattoos and, wait for it, BBQs and a tipple of spiced rum. This actually suits Geordie’s broadcasting style as he’s always been the late shift presenter.
“There’s a reason I get put after the watershed…it’s the only place to put me, parental warning needed!”
Come along and listen to Geordie’s Northern Lights Show every Sunday evening. Remember though, my show’s like a cream cake… it’s naughty but nice!
